Sidney Poitier’s MONTARO CAINE received a positive review in Kirkus, calling it, “A pleasant surprise, elegantly written and keenly observed. Think of it, in a way, as a Little Prince for grown-ups, without the aeronautics.” Spiegel and Grau will publish the book on May 7, 2013.

In Bee Ridgway’s wonderfully imaginative debut novel, a man and a woman travel through time in a quest to bring down a secret society that controls the past and, thus, the future. THE RIVER OF NO RETURN is featured in the current issue of Vanity Fair’s ‘Hot Type’ section. The magazine calls it a “thrill ride.” Dutton will publish the book April 23, 2013.

Ramona Ausubel’s was long listed for the 2013 Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award. Riverhead will publish the book May 2, 2013.

Danielle Steel’s FIRST SIGHT received a positive Kirkus Review calling it, “A novel about love, in all its heartbreaking and splendid forms.” Delacorte Press will publish the book on July 16, 2013.

Amy Fusselman’s THE PHARMACIST’S MATE and 8, which have been re-released in a two-book format, were given a rave review in the Washington Post: “[The re-release] elevates the quality of the original, turning it into a deeper, more meaningful read.” The double-book package was published by McSweeney’s February 12, 2013.

ANOTHER NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM by Milan Trenc is being featured at the American Museum of Natural History with sleepover events on Friday, April 12, Friday, May 17, and Saturday, June 22. The events include a story time presentation, an IMAX movie, and live animal exhibitions. Christy Ottaviano Books (a division of Henry Holt) published the book March 19, 2013.

Author Ryan McIlvain joined NPR Fresh Air's Terry Gross to discuss his novel ELDERS. Hogarth published the book March 5, 2013.

THE GIRL WHO LOVED CAMELLIAS by Julie Kavanagh was positively reviewed in Publishers Weekly: “Thanks to a talented author, this tragedy is a pleasure to read. Already praised as a biographer, Kavanagh intertwines the adventures of a famous courtesan with a fascinating period in Parisian history, with each scene spotlighting yet another titillating aspect of 1840s bohemia.” Knopf will publish the book June 11, 2013.
