The UK edition of Koethi Zan’s, THE NEVER LIST has been selected for the Spring 2014 Richard and Judy Book Club. Viking/Penguin published the book in the U.S. on July 16, 2013.

Olivia Laing’s THE TRIP TO ECHO SPRING was reviewed in The Boston Globe, The New York Post, Newsday, The Minneapolis Star Tribune, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, The Columbus Dispatch, Richmond Times-Dispatch, Tampa Bay Times, BookPage, and Shelf Awareness. Jennifer Percy’s DEMON CAMP is an Amazon Best Book of the Month (Biography & Memoir) and was featured in articles by the New York Post and Washington Times discussing exorcism and PTSD. Scribner will publish the book on January 14, 2014.

Dinaw Mengestu was interviewed on “This Week In Fiction” on The New Yorker blog for his story published in the magazine, “The Paper Revolution.” The story is an excerpt from his forthcoming book, ALL OUR NAMES, which Knopf will publish on March 4, 2014.

James Scott’s THE KEPT is named the January featured debut on Amazon, a top 10 book of the month, and is an Amazon Editor’s Best Book of the Month pick (Mystery/Thriller/Suspense). Picador published the book on January 7, 2013.

Manuel Gonzales’ THE MINIATURE WIFE was reviewed in The Harvard Book Review, which called it a “vibrant debut collection” and said, “Gonzales has a remarkable ability to illustrate the fluidity of self…he powerfully represents the human instinct to put them back together—the human urge to understand and cope.” Riverhead published the book on January 10, 2013.

MTV will air a drama series based on Terry Brooks’ much beloved SHANNARA books. Jon Favreau is to direct the series, and Al Gough and Miles Millar, whose credits include Smallville, will write the script. Dan Farah and Terry Brooks will help produce. WITCH WRAITH, the most recent book in the long running Shannara series, was published by Random House on July 16, 2013.
