Elliot Ackerman’s third novel WAITING FOR EDEN is a Library Journal, WAMC, and Military Times Best Book of 2018. “Small in form but big in impact,” (Military Times) it is a searing example of the short novel. Knopf published the book on September 25, 2018.
Olivia Laing’s debut novel was featured by the New Yorker in their 2018 In Review piece “More Books We Loved in 2018.” Rebecca Mead, in her write-up on the book says CRUDO “is weird, intense, served in a small portion, and totally delicious, if that’s your kind of thing.” W.W. Norton published the book on September 11, 2018.
WINNERS TAKE ALL was featured by the New Yorker in their 2018 In Review piece “More Books We Loved in 2018.” Masha Gessen, in her write-up on the book says “In lucid and witty prose, Giridharadas exposes the magical-thinking nature of win-win solutions.” Knopf published the book on August 28, 2018.
Huffington Post named Ann Beattie’s A WONDERFUL STROKE OF LUCK as one of the “61 Books We’re Looking Forward To Reading In 2019.” Viking will publish the book on April 2, 2019.
Nylon named De’Shawn Charles Winslow’s debut novel as one of the “50 Books You’ll Want To Read in 2019,” calling it “remarkable in its ability to create a fully realized world.” Rumpus also featured IN WEST MILLS in “What to Read When 2019 Is Just Around the Corner.” Bloomsbury will publish the book on June 4, 2019.
