Fans of gymnastics and charming love stories need look no further than Hannah Orenstein’s latest rom-com, HEAD OVER HEELS, which has been chosen by Cosmopolitan as one of their “12 Books You’ll Be Desperate to Read This Summer.” Atria Books will publish the book on June 23, 2020.

Erica Katz’s THE BOYS’ CLUB has been named one of Cosmopolitan’s “12 Books You’ll Be Desperate to Read This Summer.” Pitched as SWEETBITTER meets THE FIRM, this legal thriller is sure to be a summer favorite. Harper will publish the book on August 4, 2020.

Gabriella Burnham’s exquisite debut, IT IS WOOD, IT IS STONE, is one of Elle’s most anticipated books of the summer. They call the novel “a lush depiction of privilege and power, sex and stability.” One World will publish the book on June 30, 2020.

Ed Young, the bestselling author of I CONTAIN MULTITUDES, wrote an essay for the Atlantic called “Our Pandemic Summer” about the issues that will come from re-opening the U.S. after the COVID-19 outbreak subsides. Ecco published I CONTAIN MULTITUDES on August 9, 2016.

A new documentary film from Grammy Award-winning Beastie Boys members Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz is coming to Apple TV+. Sterogum announces: “In the past few years, [Horovitz] and [Diamond], the two surviving Beasties, have been invested in finding interesting ways to tell their own stories. Jessica Pearce Rotondi appeared on Zibby Owen’s Instagram Live show, #MomsDontHaveTimeToReadBooks, to discuss her forthcoming memoir WHAT WE INHERIT. Rotondi will also be doing an Instagram takeover for The Chicago Review of Books starting April 15th. Unnamed Press will publish the book on April 21, 2020.

Victoria James, partner and beverage director of COTE Korean Steakhouse in NYC, published an article in Refinery29 about supporting local businesses during quarantine by purchasing wine. “[D]rinking right now can also be a virtuous act,” says James, “one that could save a lot of small businesses from financial ruin.
