Rebecca Mead recommended Laura Kipnis’s UNWANTED ADVANCES in the New Yorker’s web feature “What We’re Reading This Summer,” where she writes: “Kipnis adeptly applies the now unfashionable but enduringly illuminating insights of psychoanalysis, with mordantly compelling results, to the actions and motivations of those who have become ensnarled in institutional [Title IX] scrutiny." Harper published the book April 4, 2017.

DEAR CYBORGS by Eugene Lim

Eugene Lim’s DEAR CYBORGS received a rave review from Christian Lorentzen in New York Magazine. DEAR CYBORGS is also one of the best books of the year so far, according to Nylon and the Chicago Review of Books. Jonathan Sturgeon included DEAR CYBORGS in a review of Occupy literature for The Baffler, calling DEAR CYBORGS “a short but important novel.” Eugene joined the Leonard Lopate show on June 23 to discuss his new novel.

Maggie Nelson interviewed and introduced Jess for Poets & Writers’ First Fiction 2017 feature, included in the July/August issue. Zyzzyva reviewed LARGE ANIMALS, calling it “startling” and “vivid.”

Powell’s City of Books selected STEPHEN FLORIDA as its 67th selection for Indiespensable, its first edition club, for which Gabe signed over a thousand copies. Excerpts of STEPHEN FLORIDA were featured on Buzzfeed and on Electric Literature’s Recommended Reading, with an introduction by Garth Greenwell. The book also received a rave review from NPR Books.
