Deadline reported that Netflix has officially greenlit the drama series FERAL, based on Shirley Conran’s SAVAGES. Show creator Jude Mack says: “It’s a complete dream to be carrying Shirley Conran’s torch alongside Hera and Netflix. I can’t wait for people to meet these funny, brutal, bold women. I’m obsessed with them and hope audiences will be too.” The series will star Jessica Gunning, Michelle Dockery, Genevieve O’Reilly, and Quintessa Swindell. Production is set to begin in Australia this year. Simon & Schuster published SAVAGES on January 1, 1987.
