Lansing Clark
Role
Literary Assistant

Having grown up in New York City, Lansing Clark graduated from Oberlin College, majoring in English. A reader from a young age, she became interested in publishing, interning at literary agencies and then working in the training program at CAA before joining Janklow and Nesbit Associates in 2024, where she assists Kirby Kim.

Lansing is interested in a wide range of fiction, both literary and commercial, especially enjoying multi-generational family dramas, stories exploring complex relationships—of all kinds—and themes of identity and belonging. Meanwhile, a novel that is lightly speculative, presenting a world that’s not quite the one we know but eerily close, more than intrigues her, as well as, on occasion, a story set in the past, a different kind of unknowable, yet familiar all the same.

In nonfiction, she's drawn to strong storytelling, cultural and societal conversations, psychology, history, and memoir.
