Mary Fulbrook’s RECKONINGS has been shortlisted for the Wolfson History Prize. "Quoting many moving accounts from victims of the extreme cruelty perpetrated by the Nazis," say the judges, "Fulbrook moves through generations to trace the legacy of Nazi persecution in postwar Germany. A masterly work which explores the shifting boundaries and structures of memory." The winner will be announced on May 7. Oxford University Press published the book on October 2, 2018.
